Nagpur. On the basis of secret information, the social security branch of Crime Branch raided the house of a woman in Binaki Mangalwari and busted the prostitution base. The woman was doing prostitution with other women for her economic benefits, which was arrested. The police rescued a 38-year-old woman from here. The arrested accused woman was said to be Chandrakala Tulsiram Maundekar (53), a resident of Indira Gandhinagar, Binaki Mangalwari.
It is to be known that Chandrakala has been arrested thrice before this under the PITA Act. The police have taken action against him in the years 2008, 2009 and 2013. Despite this, she continued to indulge in this business. He has a daughter who is doing graduation, while the son works as a fitter in a private company.
Deal settled for Rs 1,000
SSB’s PI Kavita Isarkar had received strong information that Chandrakala has been running a prostitution business in her house for a long time. She also lets other women use the house for prostitution. In such a situation, the police sent one of its punters. The punter made a deal for a woman for Rs 1,000. As soon as the punter signaled, the police team raided and arrested Chandrakala from the spot. At the same time, a woman was rescued, who told the police during interrogation that she was originally from Chhattisgarh. Her father has left her. She came to Nagpur only 2 years ago and started living in Binaki Mangalwari.
For a living, he first started vegetable work. Due to the closure of work due to Corona, he took the job of a cook. Even this did not survive, so he started prostitution at the behest of Chandrakala. The police started investigation by registering a case under the PETA Act. This action was taken under the guidance of Additional Commissioner of Police Sunil Phulari, DCP Akshay Shinde, SCP Roshan Pandit PI Issarkar, Anil Ambade, Sandeep Changole, Rashid Sheikh, Bhushan Jhade, Manish Ramteke, Sudhir Tiwari, Reena Jaurkar, Pratima Meshram etc.
