Several customers of State Bank of India (SBI) have been complaining on social media that they are getting suspicious instant loan notifications from the bank’s mobile app in which someone else’s name is being written in place of the customer.
A large number of users have filed a complaint with SBI by sharing screenshots of these notifications on Twitter. These notifications have been sent through SBI’s YONO Lite application, in which users are being informed about their eligibility for an instant personal loan.
Many users called these notifications spam, while many said that they are getting so many notifications, they have turned off the notification of the app itself.
A Twitter user named Bhojendra Pardhi wrote, “I have been getting notifications on YONO Lite app continuously since morning with different names. So far more than 50 such notifications have been received. Can anyone tell what is happening? ” Along with this, he has also shared the screenshot of the notification. You can see this tweet below-
