Inmates demand a hearing
During this uprising, some prisoners were heard demanding the hearing of pending cases against them in court. Due to Corona virus infection, the hearing of the cases in the court has been quite pending. Earlier, around 100 prisoners and an officer involved in the incident on February 6 had to be taken to the hospital. Officials said that the prisoners are angry about the situation inside the jail and are also worried about COVID-19 (Coronavirus Pandemic).
Workforce constituted
A task force has been formed to deal with the cases related to the jail. But this is not the first time, prisoners have done the same before. About two months ago, the prisoners had vandalized inside the jail, broke the windows of the windows and had set themselves on fire even though they were inside themselves. During that time, these prisoners had thrown the stuff kept inside out of the windows. At that time, the reason for the anger of the prisoners was to worry about the Corona virus epidemic and due to this, the adjournment of the cases in the court was postponed. Due to which the prisoners were quite upset.
