Mumbai: In view of the increasing cases of corona in Maharashtra, more strict restrictions may be announced. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has called a high level meeting at 9 am on Wednesday. In this meeting, the imposition of new restrictions in the state will be discussed. Ajit Pawar said that the number of corona patients in the state is increasing rapidly. In such a situation, I have called a meeting of all the key officers including Health Minister Rajesh Tope, Chief Secretary and Finance Secretary in my room at 9 am.
He said that earlier some orders were issued during the second wave, which was being implemented by the district administration. Ajit Pawar said that this time it would be better to issue only one order. A meeting will be held on Wednesday for this purpose.

Information to the Chief Minister after the meeting
Ajit Pawar said that after this meeting, all the information will be given to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. He said that my experience so far is that if the decision is in the interest of the people of the state, then the Chief Minister immediately approves it. Presently the government has imposed curfew from 9 pm to 5 am. At the same time, in Mumbai, it has been decided to close the schools of classes 1 to 9 by 31 January.
Decision on local will be important
In the midst of preparations for strict restrictions, it will be important to see what decision the government takes regarding the local train. Apart from this, the government’s stand on keeping colleges, cinema halls, shopping malls and religious places open will also be important. The question is also whether the Maharashtra government, on the lines of the Delhi government, takes a decision regarding work from home for non-essential service employees.
