In Shaniwar Peth-Navi Peth Ward No. 17, former house leader Dheeraj Ghate has put up banners at many places. On which it is written that where there is thunder there is patience. Along with this, an appeal has been made to the people to contact for civic amenities on it. On the contrary, banners have been put up. Which are becoming quite viral. On which it is written that we don’t need you, now go back home, no more Bapat, no Tilak, the people of Pune need a new identity.

The division composition for the municipal elections has been released. Due to the change in division composition, there are indications of direct conflict between the present corporators in many seats.
