- MSPHC project
Wardha. The construction work of the police quarters being built in the local Jail Road complex by the Maharashtra State Police Housing Corporation (MSPHC) has now reached the final stage. Soon the police officers and personnel house is going to be ready. Due to this, the policemen will reach their rightful residence within the coming few months. 200 flats have been included in the newly constructed housing scheme.
Residence problem will go away
The construction work of Police Quarter started on 13 September 2019 at the place of Jail Road Complex adjacent to Police Headquarters. Due to the Corona epidemic, the construction work was badly affected. The construction work came to a complete standstill for about 1 year. After the reduction in corona infection, the contractor gave impetus to the construction work. Now the construction work of Police Quarter is almost on the verge of completion. With the availability of flats this year, the problem of residence of police officers and employees will be solved.
The construction work is to be completed by June
The building is being constructed in the old Police Quarter Complex of 60 thousand square meter area of the Police Department. A total of 16 thousand Chaumi construction work is being done. A total of 8 buildings are included in this housing scheme. All the buildings are being built with water proofing and new technology. It will have 7 buildings of 7 floors. They include a total of 196 two BHK flats. There are 4 flats in a building. Where the constructed 3 BHK flats will be made available to the officials. The work of 3 BHK flats is almost complete. At the same time, the printing of 2 out of 7 flats has been completed. At other places, the work of printing work, lifts, tiles etc. is being completed rapidly. 20 engineers and 200 laborers are busy at work. The date of June 2022 has been fixed for the contractor to complete the construction work.
The old quarters were in disrepair
The complex previously had 121 old quarters, of which more than half were in dilapidated condition. As a result, many policemen were unwilling to stay in the quarters. Due to this they had to take a house on rent elsewhere. At the same time, there are about 150 quarters at the place adjacent to the jail. Where families of 70 to 80 police employees are still living. At the same time, due to the aging of the quarters, various problems have to be faced. During the rainy season, many quarters get waterlogged, due to which there was a dire need for a new housing plan.
Superintendent of Police is taking continuous stock of the situation
The work of newly constructed flats should be standard, for this, Superintendent of Police Prashant Holkar is keeping in mind the situation. From time to time, by visiting the construction work site, taking details of the work and inspecting it. In future, there should not be any kind of problem, for this purpose they are giving continuous information.
Work is going on in a planned manner
The work of Police Quarters should be completed within the stipulated time limit, for this our efforts are on, for this, the filing work is started in a planned manner. During this, the guidance and cooperation of Superintendent of Police Prashant Holkar is being received.
