Pimpri: Shivneri Fort is visited by many Shiva devotees, however due to non-availability of public transport services citizens have to depend on private vehicles. BJP’s Mahesh Landge from Bhosari Assembly has asked the PMPML Administration to avoid inconvenience to Shiva devotees, students and citizens as well as from Pimpri-Chinchwad to Junnar taluka. Taluka) had demanded to start bus service from Bhosari to Junnar. Their efforts have paid off as the PMPML administration has taken positive steps in this regard and soon the PMPML bus service will be started on this route.
MLA Mahesh Landge gave the statement to the Managing Director of PMPML. He said that many tourists devotees of Lord Shiva visit Pimpri-Chinchvad to visit Shivneri Fort which is the symbol of Swarajya in Pune district.

Many citizens of Pimpri-Chinchwad work in Manchar, Junnar and Ambegaon talukas. Due to this they have to come and go on this route daily. A large number of women and students are also traveling through this route. Traveling in private vehicle is risky for women and students. Also, there is a major inconvenience for citizens going to work as there is no fixed timing for private vehicles.

Bus service to Manchar is available through PMPML department. The next journey from Manchar to Junnar has to be dependent on other private vehicles. There are number of passengers available from Bhosari to Junnar. If PMPML bus service is started on this route, then there will be no economic loss. This will help in increasing the financial income of PMPML. Along with this, direct bus service will be available to the citizens till Shivneri Fort.

Bhosari MLA Mahesh Landge had demanded that the PMPML administration should start this bus service. The PMPML administration has taken a positive decision on this.
