In a tweet, he said that he has made a donation of Rs 1,000 to the BJP fund and asked supporters to “help a little more in strengthening the BJP”. He tweeted, “I have donated Rs 1,000 to the party fund of BJP. It is worth noting that this donation is part of a big campaign launched by BJP today on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. At the same time, today party president Nadda said in a statement that, micro-donations can range from Rs 5 to Rs 1,000.
