PM Modi will inaugurate and lay foundation stones of 23 projects worth over Rs 17,500 crore today. Out of these 23 projects, 17 projects worth Rs 14,100 crore will be laid.
These projects are related to several sectors/sectors including irrigation, roads, housing, health infrastructure, industries, sanitation, drinking water supply. At the same time, the PMO said that six projects will be inaugurated in this program. These include road widening projects, a hydroelectric project in Pithoragarh and projects related to improvement of sewerage network in Nainital. The total cost of these projects is Rs 3,400 crore.

He said that the foundation stone for four major hydroelectric projects costing Rs 11,000 crore was laid. Due to which the income of the people living in Himachal Pradesh will increase and employment opportunities will also increase for the people here. The electricity generated here will generate an income of about Rs.125 crore every year.
