Amravati. The ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi government in the state is only talking big about development. The signs of district development are being shown, but in reality no concrete steps have been taken for the development of the district. In the meeting of the District Annual Plan 2021-22, a total budget of Rs 300 crore was prepared for the development of the district, but in fact only 21 crore 32 thousand 72 thousand works were approved in this fund till the end of November.
Out of which only 10 crore 38 lakh 90 thousand rupees have been spent so far. Former BJP District President Prof. Giving this information along with the district annual planning report in the Patra Parishad, Dinesh Suryavanshi gave this information to the Guardian Minister Ed. Yashomati Thakur has been targeted.
Agriculture sector is also backward in development
A financial provision of Rs 33 crore 51 lakh 23 thousand was made in the district annual plan 2021-22 for the agriculture sector, but out of this, administrative approval was given for works worth only Rs 3 crore 39 lakh 23 thousand. Till the end of November, only Rs 2 lakh 32 thousand has been spent. A provision of Rs 4 crore has been made for modernization and construction and strengthening of veterinary dispensaries and clinics. But out of this, only Rs 5 lakh has been approved so far. But not a single rupee has been spent till the end of November. Due to which the development of the district has been questioned.
Suryavanshi also made this allegation. There is also a provision of funds in all areas like rural development, agriculture, irrigation, energy transport, general economic services – tourism development, industry and mining – rural and small scale industries, tribal development. But the amount has not been spent. Still, the foster minister is making tall claims of development. There are elections in the next two to three months. In such a situation, how will the allocated fund of Rs 300 crore be spent? This question was also presented by Dinesh Suryavanshi. Zilla Parishad member Ravindra Munde was also present in the letter talks.
Funds not given due to BJP being in power in MNP
Dinesh Suryavanshi claimed that, as per the decision of the State Government of May 2021, 30 percent of the District Annual Plan Fund was allowed to be spent for the COVID scheme. Therefore, out of Rs 300 crore, Rs 90 crore could have been spent on covid planning in the district. But even the amount was not spent for the COVID treatment plan. This fund could have been given to the health center of the Municipal area, but due to the BJP being in power in the Municipality, the foster minister deliberately did not give funds to the Municipality. Suryavanshi also made this allegation.
Zip health center also neglected
A provision of Rs 39 crore was made for the construction of a new primary health center of the Zilla Parishad. Accordingly, if eight new primary centers were built every year, then a total of 40 new health centers would have been built in a year. But only Zilla Parishad member Ravindra Munde has accused of spending Rs 12 crore on the repair of the primary health center.
