State Chief Minister Hemant Soren has made this big announcement. But, only BPL card holders will get the benefit of this cheap petrol-diesel. Recently, CM Hemant Soren announced that, from January 26, 2022, BPL card holders in the state will get petrol and diesel by Rs 25 cheaper.
Petrol and diesel prices in the country started touching the sky for the last few months. Due to which people got very upset. Let us tell you that the Jharkhand Petroleum Dealers Association was also demanding to reduce the price of petrol and diesel. The association was demanding from the government to reduce 5% VAT on petrol.

The association says that if the government reduces the rate of VAT from 22% to 17%, then it will give great relief to the people. The association said that in the neighboring states of Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar and Odisha, the price of diesel is low. In such a situation, vehicles running from Jharkhand are getting diesel from neighboring states.
