Elections will continue, make the budget session fruitful, MPs, political parties
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said elections have their place in a democracy and that process will continue but the budget session of Parliament, which draws the blueprint for the entire year, is very important. Addressing reporters on the first day of the budget session, the Prime Minister called upon all MPs and political parties to make this session fruitful.
He said, “It is true that due to frequent elections, sessions are also affected, discussions are also affected. But I will pray to all MPs… Elections are in their place… Will go on… But the budget session draws the blueprint for the whole year. That’s why it’s very important.”
