Chandvad : Nashik Rural Police has succeeded in arresting the accused of the murder case on Lasalgaon Road. District police chief Sachin Patil told a press conference in Malegaon that it has been revealed that the brother-in-law killed his brother-in-law due to an immoral relationship. On February 7 on the Manmad-Lasalgaon road near Vagdardi dam, a case of stabbing a youth to death by an unidentified person came to light at Chandvad police station.
A case of murder has been registered in this regard at Chandvad police station. Superintendent of Police Sachin Patil immediately directed the local crime branch and Chandvad police to register a case and investigate the murder at the earliest. According to the information received by the police, Inspector Hemant Patil and Sameer Baravarkar asked the police team to examine the CCTV footage installed on Manmad Chandvad Road. It got information about the accused. When the police went to Gangave village in Chandvad tehsil and questioned the accused Dattatreya Vishwanath Ubale, he did not give a vague answer. After thorough investigation, accused Dattatreya Vishwanath Ubale confessed his crime.
Investigation has revealed that the deceased and the accused are brother-in-law. Police have arrested the accused. The accused has been sent to police custody for five days. It is learned that brother-in-law murdered him over his brother-in-law’s immoral relationship.
