This instruction has been implemented in all urban and rural areas of Akola district from the night of December 31 till further orders, this order has been given by District Magistrate Neema Arora.

As per the revised guidelines, the attendance limit for closed spaces and open spaces in respect of marriage ceremonies shall not exceed 50. The same limit will remain on social, political and religious programs and conventions. Similarly, a limit of 20 persons has been kept for the last method. The rules of social distancing will have to be followed at tourist places and other places located in the district which attract crowd. It is necessary to take care of maintaining a safe distance of at least six feet between two persons in public places. Along with this, it will also have to be ensured that not more than five people come together at a time.

It is mandatory for citizens to carry a certificate of taking both doses of the vaccine or RTPCR test to enter the government office. It is mandatory to use masks in all government offices and public places. In any case, whether the COVID rules are being followed or not, it is necessary for the competent authority to investigate the concerned establishment and take action.
Punishment orders against persons, establishments violating the COVID rules will remain in force.
