The youth living in Narendranagar reached Delhi by plane from Dubai on Saturday. Came to the city by flight there. Due to the background of foreign travel, COVID investigation was done at the airport. Immediately after the report came positive, he was admitted to AIIMS. Meanwhile, samples of the youth were sent to the National Virology Laboratory in Pune for genome sequencing. The report received on Thursday was confirmed to be Omicron.
Chief Medical Officer of Municipal Corporation Dr. Sanjay Chilkar said that the condition of the youth remains stable. According to the government’s guide lines, RT-PCR test of the youth will be done after 10 days. In this, it will be discharged after the report comes negative. After this, you will have to stay in home isolation for a few days. Meanwhile, about 52 people who came in contact with the youth are going to be investigated.
7 new infected in the district
Meanwhile, according to the report received on Thursday, 3,702 people were investigated in the district. Of these, 7 people were found to be corona positive. At the same time, 10 people went to their homes after recovery. At present there are 49 active cases in the district.
