The person has been vaccinated and had traveled to South Africa recently.
Actually, this virus was first reported in South Africa on 24 November. A person infected with this variant was first identified in South Africa. Prior to this case, a woman who came in contact with a person who was infected with the new form of Coronavirus in Rajasthan, Omicron, was found infected in Delhi and she is currently admitted to LNJP Hospital. The woman was found infected on Thursday. She did not go anywhere abroad. 17 people of his family are also in isolation.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra has reported the highest number of Omicron cases in the country so far. On Friday, seven more cases of Omicron have been reported in the state. Out of which three cases have been found in Mumbai and four in Pimpri Chinchwad. After which the total number of Omicron cases increased to 17 in the state and 32 cases in the country.
