Mumbai: Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra has issued a “No Vaccine, No Entry Order” order amid rising cases of Omicron in the state. According to reports, this order has been issued by Collector Rajendra Bhosale and it will be applicable from today i.e. Saturday. According to a report, people who have not got the corona vaccine will not be allowed to enter various public areas including private establishments, shopping malls, hotels, restaurants, cinemas, auditoriums, marriage halls, government or semi-government offices.
An official was quoted in the report as saying that, as per the order, it is mandatory for people visiting these places to take at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and follow the appropriate behavior of COVID-19. Compliance has been made mandatory. Meanwhile, within just a few weeks, the total number of Omicron cases in India has now increased to 415, with Maharashtra and Delhi at the top.
