New Delhi: The danger of Omicron is increasing amidst the ever-increasing corona cases in India. Now the cases of Omicron, a new form of corona virus in the country, have now increased to 3,071. According to the data released yesterday, 3,007 cases of Omicron were reported in the country till Friday morning. Cases of Omicron have been reported in about 27 states/union territories of India. ANI quoted the Union Health Ministry as saying that out of the total 3,071 cases reported so far, 1,203 people have either been cured or have left the country.
Let us inform that, the Union Health Ministry said that Maharashtra (Maharashtra Omicron Updates) reported the maximum number of 876 cases, followed by Delhi (Delhi Omicron Updates) with 513, Kerala 284, Rajasthan 291, Gujarat 204 and 121 cases have been reported in Tamil Nadu.

Meanwhile, speculation has also intensified regarding the weekend curfew in Maharashtra. Apart from Omicron in Maharashtra, the cases of corona are increasing continuously. At the same time, the havoc of Corona continues in the capital Delhi. Patients infected with COVID are continuously coming to the fore, after which now the government in Delhi has announced to impose a precautionary weekend curfew, which has come into effect from today.

The 55-hour weekend curfew in Delhi has started from 10 pm on Friday and will continue till 5 am on Monday. During this, the movement of people other than those involved in essential services and those coming under the exempted category will be banned for 55 hours.
