Mumbai. In Maharashtra, the cases of Omicron are increasing again after declining. According to the bulletin by the Health Department on Saturday, more than 200 people have been infected with Omicron in a day in the state. At the same time, 4,359 new cases of delta variant have been reported, which is 1096 less than the cases reported a day earlier. 23 more people have died in the state. Apart from this, more than 12 thousand people have recovered from this epidemic.
More than 50 thousand active cases
According to the Health Department, after getting new corona patients in the state, the number of infected people has increased to 78,39,447 and the number of dead to 1,43,387. Although the good thing is that 12,986 people have defeated this dangerous virus, due to which the number of people recovering from corona reached 76,39,854. At present there are 52,238 active patients in the state.

Most new patients in Pune division
According to the bulletin, the maximum number of 1207 cases of corona infection have been reported in Pune division. After this, 697 new cases have been registered in Nagpur division, 681 in Nashik division, 675 in Mumbai division, 527 in Akola, 254 in Kolhapur division, 177 in Latur division and 141 in Aurangabad division. In Maharashtra, the recovery rate was recorded at 97.45 percent and the death rate was 1.82 percent.

Omicron has 237 new cases
Omicron virus has been confirmed in 237 people in Maharashtra in the last 24 hours. Which is 161 more than the cases found on Friday. Out of the new infected, maximum 226 have been found in Mumbai alone. While 11 have been found in Pune. A total of 3,768 patients have been infected with Omicron in Maharashtra so far.
