New Delhi: In Uttar Pradesh, the politics of the state has heated up due to the raids of the Income Tax Department on perfume traders. Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav has told his MLAs and leaders Red is the fear of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the central government. With this, he has accused of raiding at the wrong place. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has retaliated on this allegation of SP supremo. In the press conference held on Friday, he said, “GST has happened at the right place. With this, he has asked, “Why is Akhilesh so scared of Red?”
Who is Akhilesh saving?
The Union Finance Minister said, “I want to ask those who are commenting on this that if the team went, did it come empty handed? If he had gone to the wrong person’s house, would he have got so much money in his house? Who are you saving? Has SP chief Akhilesh Yadav been shaken by this? Are they scared?”
He said, “Today’s income tax raids (on properties of perfume dealers and SP MLC Pushpraj Jain and others) are also being conducted on the basis of actionable intelligence. Unrelated material is coming to the fore in today’s IT raids.”

Intelligence agency raiding
Nirmala Sitharaman said, “Law Enforcement Agency raids somewhere and kills on the basis of information. In Kanpur, the perfume trader was raided under the information of GST. Due to which so much wrong information was spread in the last 2 days, a press note was issued to explain it.
Evidence of theft of money found in the raid
The Finance Minister said, “He (SP chief) should not doubt the professionalism of the organisation. The height of the (confiscated) cash is proof that law enforcement agencies are acting honestly… should we wait for the muhurta after the election or catch the thief today itself?”

It is to be known that Akhilesh had accused the BJP of defaming Kannauj due to the IT raid on his close friends and MLAs. In the press conference held, he said that after the truth of the raid on Piyush Jain, BJP itself got maligned. To save his infamy, SP MLC was raided. BJP is defaming Ittra and Kannauj. We will give back their respect to the perfume merchants and help them with their perfume dunks in the world too.”
