The Bihar government has announced some restrictions in view of the increasing cases of corona in the state. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar informed that now the night curfew will be imposed from 9 am to 5 am in the state. The Chief Minister announced that all religious places in the state will remain closed till May 15. Apart from this, the government offices in the state with a third capacity will work only till 5 pm.
Shops, mandis, business establishments closed till 6 pm
The Chief Minister announced that shops, mandis, business establishments will be closed by 6 pm. All shops selling vegetables, fruits, eggs and meat in the state have been ordered to close till 6 pm. Along with this, restaurants and dhabas will be allowed for home delivery and takeaway, which can be done by 9 pm.
Nitish Kumar announced that no more than 25 people will be allowed to attend the last rites in the state. Apart from this, only 100 people have been allowed to attend weddings. The Chief Minister told the press conference that schools, colleges and other educational institutions will remain closed and no examination will be taken by government-run schools and universities.

The Chief Minister said that all the cinema halls, malls, clubs, gyms and parks in the state will remain closed till May 15. He told that the Bihar government has decided to give one month bonus salary to all health workers also this year.
State Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that 8,690 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Bihar today.
