Nepal and India to Conduct Joing Study of Construction Work: Nepal Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali said on Monday that both countries will observe the construction work on the border of India and Nepal. Gianvani said that the two countries have agreed to jointly review the construction activities being carried out by India on the border in Darchula district (Nepal India Border News). The Foreign Minister said this while replying to the questions of MPs in the lower house of the Nepalese Parliament delegation.
He said that joint survey of construction activities will be done with the help of survey officers of both countries. The minister said that the government had on January 6 to inspect the security wall being built by Nepal on the banks of the Mahakali river (Nepal India Ka Samachar) in the Darchula district amid reports of the Indian side allegedly encroaching the Nepalese region. Will inspect on april 12
The Foreign Minister said that the team consisted of representatives of Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal Police and Darchula District Administration Office (Nepal India Conflict Over Border Areas). He said that survey teams from Nepal and India would inspect the construction activities on April 12 and try to find out whether the international border was encroached (Nepal and India to Conduct Joing Study of Construction Work), or not. Nepal’s sovereignty has been respected, or not.
