Nashik: Now the distance between Nashik-Shirdi will be completed in just one and a half hours. For this, traffic will start on the very important Sinnar-Shirdi Four Lane Highway from the end of March. This will also reduce the distance between Mumbai and Shirdi, no doubt about it. Along with this, a separate palanquin route of 51 km has also been prepared.
The distance between Sinnar-Shirdi is 60 kms. The work of this highway is almost complete. It is fully expected to be opened in the month of March. Earlier it was believed that this highway will open in October 2022, but due to the problems related to this highway, now the way has been cleared for its opening by the end of March.
Land has been taken from 19 villages
Land in 19 villages of Sinnar taluka has been acquired for Sinnar-Shirdi road. In fact, the distance between Nashik to Shirdi is 90 km, but due to four lanes, its distance will be reduced. This will save people’s travel time.

There will be two flyovers on the way
Two flyovers are being built between Sinnar-Shirdi Highway. After Gurewadi, two flyovers are being constructed at Musalgaon MIDC. Its length is 500 meters. Apart from this, underground roads are being constructed at Dantli, Pangri, Vavi and Pathre. Underground roads have been made in Ahmednagar district, Darde, Tadhphata, Savli in Bihar where needed.
palanquin road for sai devotees
Every year lakhs of devotees visit Shirdi to bow their heads at the feet of Sai Baba. Keeping these devotees in mind, a separate palanquin route has been prepared on this route. This route is about 51 kms. This route will pass through Nashik and Ahmednagar districts. This road will start from Gurewadi, Musalgaon. Underground roads will be built at various places for the convenience of the passers-by. Under this, there will be an underground route at Pangri, Wavi, Skull, Musalgaon Phata and Pathre.
