Mumbai: The Mumbai Police has suggested the mystery of a shocking kidnapping case. Police has arrested one person in the case while the search for three others is on. Actually, a woman had complained to the police about her boyfriend being kidnapped, after which the police took further action in the matter.
According to a report, 21-year-old Siddhesh Bhosle alias Chocolat allegedly has about half a dozen criminal cases registered against him and last year the police had issued him an order to stay outside the Mumbai limits. But despite this, Siddesh had reached Dadar area of Mumbai to meet his girlfriend, escaping from the eyes of the police. But fate did not favor him and he was caught by the members of the Rival gang.
According to the report, the matter came to light when his girlfriend approached the police. Investigators rescued Siddesh alias Chocolate from Ray Road within three hours, where he was held hostage and beaten up. Siddesh was kidnapped by some gang members, after which he was forcibly put in a car and taken to a remote place and thrashed him fiercely.
The report quoted the police officer as saying that he had come to meet his girlfriend, who lives in Matunga, around 7.30 pm on Sunday. Four people who arrived in a car beat up the chocolates and forcibly pushed them into the car. The woman tried her best to save the chocolates but the kidnappers fled. The 19-year-old woman then approached Matunga police and informed them that she did not know who the abductors were and later an FIR was registered against unknown persons. The police team swung into action and started collecting details from their sources. The police, through their sources, came to know that the chocolates had been taken to a deserted cement godown on Ray Road, seven kilometers from Dadar. When a police team reached the spot, they found an injured chocolate and one of the kidnappers Prafulla Patkar (24).

The report further quoting the police officer said that the police teams rescued the chocolates and arrested Patkar. The accused had beaten him with a chocolate belt and sticks due to which he was seriously injured. Chocolate had many marks of cigarette burns all over her body. He was later shifted to Sion Hospital for treatment.
Police said that during investigation, the police came to know that Chocolate had abused and threatened an associate of Patkar after which he was attacked. The police officer said, when they were checking the scooter of chocolates, they found a big knife. A case has been registered against Chocolate under the Arms Act. Patkar and his associates have been booked under IPC sections for kidnapping and wrongful restraint. Patkar was earlier arrested in another case of attempt to murder. Meanwhile, Chocolate has been sent to judicial custody for entering the city limits.
