Mumbai: Rakes of Mumbai Metro will be made available on rent for shooting etc. Mahamumbai Metro Operation Corporation Limited (MMMOCL) has decided to hire Metro Rakes for movies, web series, television serials, commercials, documentaries etc. It is noteworthy that from the new year, the metro is going to be expanded in Mumbai.
The upcoming Metro Line-7 will run in close proximity to Film City, management companies and other studios in Goregaon. Artists and other producers, mainly residing in the western suburbs of Mumbai, will be able to easily take advantage of shooting at metro stations.

According to Shadab Siddiqui of Octus Advisors-Studio, this decision will increase the non-fare revenue of MMMOCL. Production houses and event management companies will benefit from metro rakes and stations. In addition, permission will be given on a first come, first served basis. It has been told that for this the fare will be charged on hourly basis. The rent for shooting will be up to 2.50 lakhs per hour, however free time of one hour will be given for setup of camera etc.
