Mumbai: Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar has received death threats. Not only has he been threatened with death by sending a letter, but abusive language has also been used. Byculla Police has registered an FIR. Mayor Kishori Pednekar had earlier also received death threats on 22 December 2020. An unknown person had threatened to kill him over the phone.
On Friday, Kishori Pednekar received a letter from a courier threatening to kill her. Indecent language was used in the letter. This letter has been couriered from Panvel. A different address is written on it. The police have recorded the statement of the mayor. An FIR has been registered on the basis of that.
