Mumbai Local Trains: The services of local trains called Mumbai’s Lifeline will start from February 1 for the common people. The Maharashtra government has given approval for the resumption of suburban train services for the common people on Friday. However, passengers will be able to travel within the designated time slot. According to the railway official, the proposal of the state government has been sent to the Competent authorities and a formal announcement will be made soon. The State Government Official informed that the Chief Secretary of the state, Sanjay Kumar, has held talks with the Chief General Managers of Western and Central Railways.

The services of local trains have been closed since March last year. Lockdown was imposed across the country in March last year due to Corona infection, due to which the railways also stopped their services. The services of the local trains called Mumbai’s lifeline were also stopped. However, it was started in June for compulsory service workers.
