- Appreciable speed up in vaccination work in the district
Bhandara, The threat of Omicron virus is being seen as the third wave of COVID. In the West, the number of patients of the new virus is increasing. Most of the patients in India are from Maharashtra. In the midst of this reality, complete vaccination can prove to be an effective weapon to keep Bhandara district safe from Omicron.
With the aim of eliminating the possibility of infiltration of the district to Omicron, District Magistrate Sandeep Kadam started the “Mission Left Out” campaign and has given himself completely to make this mission a success. Despite the official holiday, he is taking stock of the vaccination work throughout the day and meeting the people who are giving their time for this national work and encourage them. On Saturday, District Magistrate Kadam and District Surgeon Farooqui toured the entire district and encouraged the team to complete the vaccination work.
It may be mentioned that a special COVID vaccination campaign has been started in the district under “Mission Left Out” to complete the COVID vaccination for citizens above 18 years from December 24 to December 31, 2021.
15401 vaccinated in a single day
In the very first day of the campaign, a total of 15401 COVID vaccines have been vaccinated in the district, in which the first dose has been given on 2124 and the second dose on 13277. The call by the District Health Department and the District Administration to the citizens of the district to complete both the doses of the COVID vaccine is getting a good response from the people.
Nakadongri and Chulhad got praise
Nakadongri and Chulhad villages got the highest praise in the vaccination work done on 24th December. According to the Health Department, these two villages did the most work in the district. The concerned Gram Panchayat Sarpanch and office bearers were congratulated for this wonderful work. In the remaining villages, with the help of concerned Talathis, Gram Sevaks, Mandal Officers, ASHA and Anganwadi Sevikas, the beneficiaries taking the first and second doses of COVID vaccination are being encouraged.

Under Mission Left Out, the list of beneficiaries with the remaining first and second doses has been made available to the concerned Gram Panchayat. On the basis of this list, the beneficiaries are being requested to get vaccinated by contacting them through their personal mobiles.
District Magistrate and CS in action mode
District Magistrate Sandeep Kadam and District Surgeon appeared in full action mode on Saturday. He himself took stock of the ongoing vaccination in the entire district and encouraged the team involved in the vaccination work. District Magistrate Kadam and CS Farooqui on Saturday visited Nagar Panchayat Lakhani, Village Murmadi (Sa), Pimpalgaon, Pohra, Shivni, Palandur in Lakhni tehsil. In this meeting, he talked to Sarpanch, local public representatives, village servants, Talathi, Asha, Anganwadi Sevika, Umaid Women Saving Group and teachers and encouraged them to complete the remaining vaccinations.
