Gadchiroli, The absconding accused in the murder of Mina Sidam, who created panic in the entire Gadchiroli district, has finally been caught by the Damrancha police. On Friday, the police arrested the accused Avinash Ranga Madavi. Let us tell here that the body of Mina Sidam, a resident of the village (Gerra Tola) coming to Mannerajaram gram panchayat, was found buried in the nearby farm premises of the village on Monday.
After which the police investigated the matter seriously and detained Ranga Madavi, the former sarpanch of Mannerajaram village, as a suspect. But the main accused in the case, former sarpanch’s son and Mina’s lover Avinash Ranga Atram, had absconded. Finally, after searching for 5 days, the main accused Avinash Madavi has been arrested by the police. Especially the arrested accused has confessed to killing Mina.
Avinash was hiding in Telangana
It is being told that after killing Mina, the villagers got to know about the matter of burying the land in the adjacent farm premises of the village and Avinash Madavi was the one who carried out this incident. On coming to know about this, accused Avinash Madavi had absconded in Telangana. Here the police took his father into custody for interrogation.
Meanwhile, the police got information about Avinash being hiding in Ashok Nagar located in Karimnagar of Telangana state. On the basis of which a team of Damrancha police left for Telangana to arrest Avinash. And Avinash was arrested from Telangana and brought to Damrancha.
Police solved Mina murder mystery in 5 days
As soon as the matter of killing a minor girl and burial of the dead body came to the fore, the Damrancha police under the guidance of Sujitkumar Kshirsagar, Sub-Divisional Police Officer of Jimalgatta, started investigating the matter seriously. In particular, the police investigated the matter closely, emphasizing on all the aspects related to the case. Finally, days after the incident came to light, the police arrested the main accused of the murder. Due to which the work of Damrancha Police is being appreciated.
Youth demanded strict action
Here, the youth of Aheri have submitted a memorandum of demands to the Additional Superintendent of Police by knocking on the office of the Additional Superintendent of Police located at Pranhita Sub Police Headquarters, demanding strict action against Avinash Sidam, accused in the Mina Sidam murder case. Where in the memorandum, the youth have demanded strict action by registering a case against the co-accused, including the accused Avinash Madavi, under the POSCO Act. A large number of youths including Tushar Mattami, Arshant Undirwade, Suraj Narote, Vivek Atram, Lalit Uike, Mahesh Misalwar, Sahil Kosare, Vinit Kodape, Chetan Alam, Ashish Sunatkar, Anoushka Ondale were present at this time.
