In such a situation, a case of ‘high-tech beggar’ has come to light from Bettiah in Bihar, which seems to be a topic of discussion on social media. Actually there is a beggar in Bettiah who has adopted a unique way of asking for money. This person named Raju Patel uses PhonePe and his personal QR code. Seeing the way of begging, people are also surprised at first and some people also put some money from their account in this digital wallet.
Raju Patel is now being recognized as a ‘digital beggar’ on social media. According to ANI, Raju Patel said, “I accept digital payments, it proves good to complete the work and fill my stomach.”

According to a report in The Quint, Raju Patel told that his father died in 2002 and he has been forced to beg since 2005. Raju begs people in different areas during the day and sleeps in a temple during the night.

Raju told that, a person used to come to the auto people and make their cards. During this, one day the person told Raju about online payment and after that Raju adopted the digital method to take money, after which people also started giving him money in his account. The report states that, Raju told that, everyday he gets around 200 rupees at least in this way.
