It is noteworthy that on December 30, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had attacked the BSP during the BJP’s Jan Vishwas Yatra in Moradabad, Aligarh, Unnao, saying that the cold of Behenji (Mayawati) was not subsiding. Elections are here and she is not even going out to campaign. She said, “Looks like she is already scared of defeat. SP-BSP cannot develop in Uttar Pradesh.”
In response to this, BSP supremo Mayawati said in a press conference on Saturday, “When parties like BJP and Congress are in power at the Center or in whatever states, these parties are about two and a half months before the elections are declared at the Center and in the respective states. They make announcements, foundation stone laying, inauguration and inauguration etc. Under the guise of this, a lot of election public meetings are also held with government expenditure, on which government money not of their party but of our common people is wasted like water very mercilessly. In this, half the crowd is of government employees and half of the crowd is of ticket seekers. We are seeing all this in states like Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab.”
Mayawati congratulated the party workers and the general public on the occasion of New Year and also advised to be careful of corona virus. (agency)
