The crackdown on fireworks forward of the Fourth of July continued over the weekend, as Massachusetts State Police seized a large quantity of fireworks and arrested a Springfield man.
On Sunday night, a trooper in western Massachusetts stopped a 2019 Infiniti QX80 SUV on Route 91 south in Hatfield. That freeway cease led to an arrest and the seizure of a considerable amount of fireworks.
