State Police Col. Christopher Mason is retiring efficient subsequent Friday, the Healey administration introduced, making a plum emptiness.

Mason’s retirement announcement, which Gov. Maura Healey made on a Friday afternoon whereas she is in Washington D.C. at conferences with different governors, mentioned her administration “will soon announce next steps in regard to leadership at the Massachusetts State Police.”
