- Ignoring the food and drug administration
Dhanaki, The festival of Makar Sankrant is especially celebrated for women. Because of which women are rushing to buy goods in the market. Taking advantage of this, oil mafia of Hadgaon tehsil of Nandad district has become active in Dhanki Bazar of Umarkhed tehsil. The arrival of adulterated edible oil has come in the market. But the food administration is being ignored in this direction. Due to this adulterated oil, there are consequences on the health of the citizens.
Keeping any important festival in mind, oil mafia is bringing adulterated oil from Nanded and Hadgaon to Dhanki city by pouring 200 liters of oil through truckers from Nanded and Hadgaon for the last several days. From the same tanker, it is packed in 15 liter bins and sold in the shop by putting company people on it.
Due to the scarcity of this oil, customers are also attracted towards this oil. The work of playing with the health of citizens by selling this adulterated oil is being done by the edible oil ref mafia. But the food administration is being ignored towards this edible oil mafia.
There is more adulteration in this village
In Umarkhed tehsil of Dhanki, Mulawa, Popali, Ningnur, Bittergaon, Phulsavangi, Darati and other villages, sand mafia works as parcels of rage. The Food and Drug Administration has taken a sample of the oil being done during the festival and there is a need to investigate. Along with this, there is a demand from the citizens of the campus to take action against the oil mafia who are playing with the health of the citizens.
Need to make settlements on the border entering Vidarbha
To enter Vidarbha from Marathwada, one has to cross the Panganga River. Name checking is done on this river and at the check post entering Vidarbha only. Due to which checking at the check post entering Vidarbha prevents adulterated oil coming into the city. For this reason, there is a need to make strict arrangements at the check post.
