What is the condition of Maharashtra
On Sunday, 50 new Omicron cases have been reported in the state. With this, the number of Omicron infected in the state has now crossed 500. Similarly, now the total cases of Omicron in the country have increased to 1,698. It is a matter of relief that 580 people have been cured in them.
If we talk about corona cases, then 11,877 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the state within 24 hours, while 9 patients have died. At the same time, after the arrival of new cases, the total number of infected in the state has increased to 66,99,868 and the number of dead has increased to 1,41,542. Apart from this, 2,069 people have returned home after getting corona free. So far 65,12,610 people have been cured of corona. At present, 42,024 active patients are being treated here.

Similarly, if we talk about Mumbai, then at present 8,630 new cases of corona have been reported here within 24 hours. However, not a single death has been recorded in the city on Sunday. At the same time, within 24 hours in the city, 578 people have returned to their homes after getting corona free. At present there are 29,819 active patients.
From today Corona vaccine for 15 to 18 year old children
It is worth noting that from today i.e. from Monday, children of 15 to 18 years in the country will be vaccinated against corona. For this, more than 6 lakh registrations have been done on the CoWIN platform till last Sunday evening for the vaccination of children of this age.
According to reports, the Drugs Controller General of India has allowed Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin for emergency use for children above 12 years of age, subject to certain conditions. At the same time, the Union Health Ministry had already made it clear that children of 15-18 years would be given Covaxin.
