Mumbai. Where on the one hand the cases of the new variant ‘Omicron’ of Coronavirus are now increasing continuously. On the other hand, on Saturday, a new case of this variant has come to the fore in the country. However, if we talk about Maharashtra, no new case of Omicron has been found in the last 24 hours.
It is worth noting that so far only 17 cases of Omicron have been reported in the state, out of which 7 patients have been discharged from the hospital after recovery. Including a one and a half year old girl from Pimpri Chinchwad, who has been discharged from the hospital today.

Here, according to the Health Department, 807 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours, while 20 patients died. After which the total number of infected in the state has increased to 66,43,179 and the number of dead has increased to 1,41,243.
According to the data, so far 869 people have recovered from Corona in the last 24 hours. So far 64,91,805 people have been cured of corona in the state. At present, 6,452 active patients are being treated in the state. On the other hand, on Saturday, the recovery rate was 97.72 and the death rate was 2.12 percent in the state. At the same time 75,095 people are in home quarantine and 865 people are currently in institutional quarantine.
Significantly, on Friday, 695 cases of corona were reported in the state and 12 infected people died. However, the good thing is that 811 people have returned home after recovering from this dangerous disease.

At the same time, only 256 new cases have been reported in Mumbai in the last 24 hours. However, it is a matter of relief that not a single death was recorded in the city in the last 24 hours. Section 188 implemented in Maharashtra
It is to be known that, after the new variant of Coronavirus Pandemic in Mumbai, Omicron, the government has now implemented Section 144 for 11-12 December. Along with this, rallies, processions and morchas have also been banned. The order issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations), Mumbai, i.e. Saturday and today, Sunday will be effective for 48 hours.
