Maharashtra: Corona becoming ‘canker’, 43,211 new cases, 19 deaths in 24 hours

At the same time, 2 patients have been found in Mumbai and 1 patient in Akola. With this, the total number of infected has now reached 1,605.

If we talk about Mumbai, then today 11,317 new cases of corona have been reported. Also 22,073 people have been discharged and 9 people have died. The number of active cases is 84,352.

With this, after 43,211 cases of corona were reported in Maharashtra in the last 24 hours, the total number of infected people has increased to 71,24,278 and the number of dead to 1,41,756. At the same time, in the last 24 hours in the state, 33,356 people recovered after recovering from corona, now the number of people who have recovered has increased to 67,17,125.

At present, 2,61,658 active patients are being treated in the state. In the last 24 hours, the recovery rate was 94.28 and the death rate was 1.98%. At present, 19,10,361 people are living in home quarantine and 9,286 in institutional quarantine in the state.

Whereas in Maharashtra, 136 policemen of Mumbai Police have been found infected with corona in the last 24 hours and so far a total of 126 policemen have died due to this. The number of active cases currently stands at 1,253.
