Mumbai. The third wave of Corona Pandemic is weakening in Maharashtra. After 2,797 people were found infected with Coronavirus in the last 24 hours in the state, the number of people infected has now increased to 78,53,291. At the same time, after the death of 40 infected, the death toll has reached 1,43,532. This information was given by the Health Department of Maharashtra on Thursday.
Number of active patients dropped
According to the Health Department, 6,383 people have become corona free in the state in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of people who have been cured has increased to 76,81,961. At the same time, the number of active patients has come down to 23,816. At present, 2,51,023 patients are in home quarantine and 1,146 in institutional quarantine in the state. Maharashtra recorded a recovery rate of 97.82% and a death rate of 1.82% today.
