Madhya Pradesh: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday evening. This was their first one-to-one meeting of the year. After the meeting, Shivraj said that I thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji for the provision in the budget for the scheme of interlinking of Ken-Betwa rivers. He requested them to participate in the Bhoomi Pujan of this project. He also urged to inaugurate the project of expansion of Mahakal temple in Ujjain.
After the meeting, the Chief Minister said that more than Rs 44 thousand crore has been approved for the work of connecting Ken-Betwa. Dams will be formed by connecting these two rivers. 10 lakh hectares of land will be irrigated. About 50 lakh people will get drinking water. Along with Madhya Pradesh, Bundelkhand falling in Uttar Pradesh will also get its benefit. There is a wave of happiness among the people of Bundelkhand regarding this project. I have requested the Prime Minister to attend the Bhoomi Pujan program.
Invitation to inaugurate MP projects
The Chief Minister said that we also informed the Prime Minister about the ongoing projects in Madhya Pradesh. Mahakaleshwar complex is being expanded in Ujjain. His work is getting done. The work is expected to be completed by April. I have requested the PM to inaugurate the expansion of the Mahakal complex. Similarly, in Indore, we have adopted the West to Wealth mantra based on the inspiration of the PM. Under this, we have set up a plant to make CNG from wet waste. In this, about 17 thousand 500 kg CNG will be made. 550 metric tonnes of waste will be disposed of. We have requested the PM to inaugurate this plant. Similarly, we have given the responsibility of nutritional diet plan to self-help groups. Seven plants will be set up for this. We also want to get it inaugurated by the Prime Minister.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that he also informed the Prime Minister about several schemes being run in Madhya Pradesh. We have decided that there should be a day in every village and city of the state, when people from all over the country and the world come there and participate in the activities of the village. This will help in connecting them to their roots.
natural farming campaign
Shivraj said that the way the central government has started the campaign of natural farming around the river Ganga, similarly we are also running it in Madhya Pradesh. We have decided that natural farming should be done for 5-5 km on both the banks of Narmada. The use of chemical fertilizers should be minimized. With this we will also be able to protect the health of the earth.
