Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan sent relief amount for crop loss due to hailstorm in Madhya Pradesh in the accounts of farmers. Through the virtual medium held on Thursday, the Chief Minister has sent a relief amount of 202.90 crore directly to the farmers’ account through DBT. Chief Minister has benefited one lakh 46 thousand farmers of 26 districts.
Earlier, while addressing the people, the Chief Minister said, “The inspiration of Sant Ravidas ji is that ‘Aisa Chahoon Raj Main, where I meet everyone, food is small, everyone is happy, Ravidas is happy’ without the labor of farmers and This cannot be accomplished without cooperation, so I always work for the progress of the farmers.
He said, “The crops were damaged due to hailstorm and untimely rains, then I told all you farmer brothers and sisters that do not get upset, do not bring tears to your eyes, I stand by your side in the hour of every sorrow and crisis as always. Am. I will give you complete relief.”
The CM further said, “I had given instructions only then that a survey of the crops of all those farmers who have been affected, whose crops have been damaged. Do not sit in any room or office, but go from field to field and do an accurate survey with physical verification.
The Chief Minister further said, “After the release of crop insurance and relief funds, it may take a day or two to reach the bank accounts. Non-receipt of funds is not a matter of concern. You farmer brothers and sisters, rest assured, in a day or two, the amount will reach the remaining accounts as well.
Attacking the Congress party, Shivraj said, “You can see the difference between government and government. In 2019, the Congress government was there, then farmers were left alone in times of crisis. He said, “Even during Corona, we did the work of buying every grain of the farmers’ produce.”
He further said, “It was only due to the hard work of the Annadata that even in such challenging times, the grain stores of the state were filled and we even left Punjab behind in the procurement of wheat.”
The Chief Minister said, “We have given a total of 1 lakh 72 thousand crore rupees to the farmer brothers and sisters of our state through various schemes including crop insurance, relief amount, Pradhan Mantri Samman Nidhi, electricity grant in 22 months.” He said, “My farmer brothers and sisters, I and my government stand with you in every crisis and challenge.”
