In the first phase of voting for the election of local self-government institution of Bhandara district, 70.33 percent on December 21. Voting took place. According to the revised schedule of the State Election Commission, the voting for the unreserved place will be held on Tuesday, January 18 and the counting of votes will be done on January 19.
In the second phase, 1 lakh 85 thousand 715 male and 1 lakh 81 thousand 793 female voters will decide the candidates in this voting to be held at 601 polling stations.
Voting will be held in this time period from 7.30 am to 5.30 am. For this, the administration has given instructions regarding the holiday for voting and other private believers to give convenience for two hours for voting. And the sale of liquor is prohibited in the polling area. Tight security arrangements have been made on the background of counting of votes and Section 144 has been implemented in the respective premises.
