A 22-year-old Lexington man was arrested for allegedly capturing his mom and her buddy Friday inside the house the place he and the mom lived, prosecutors stated in a Saturday assertion.
Lexington Police obtained a 911 name simply earlier than 5 p.m. Friday from the suspect’s 57-year-old mom, who instructed legislation enforcement that her son, Brent Justice Roman-Finnagan, had shot her and her buddy, a 55-year-old Haverhill lady, authorities stated.
Police arrived on the scene on Keeler Farm Way “and were able to take the suspect into custody without incident,” authorities stated.
“The two women were transported to an area hospital where they remain in stable condition. The suspect was also transported to the hospital last night for a mental health evaluation, but he has since been released,” the Middlesex District Attorney’s workplace stated in an announcement.
Roman-Finnagan illegally bought a firearm that he had saved in his room earlier than he retrieved it “and shot both women,” prosecutors stated.
Roman-Finnagan was charged with two counts of armed assault with intent to homicide, two counts of assault and battery with a harmful weapon, assault and battery with a harmful weapon leading to critical bodily damage, two counts of assault and battery on account of discharge of a firearm, possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition, prosecutors stated.
Roman-Finnagan is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Concord District Court, in line with the Middlesex District Attorney’s workplace.
In an announcement Friday evening, the Lexington Police Department stated they have been investigating a capturing that occurred on Keeler Farm Way.
