Khamgaon. Polling for Akola, Buldhana and Washim local self-government body legislative council elections was held peacefully in the district on Friday, December 10. In Khamgaon, 100 percent voting took place till 2 pm.
There are total 367 voters in Buldhana district for this election. In which there are 169 male and 198 female voters. For the voting process of the election, 11 polling stations were set up in the district. Voting process started from 8 am, very little voting was done for the first two hours, from 8 am to 12 am only 11 percent voting was done in the district, after 12 noon the voting started increasing. Voting was going on at a very low speed in the district, in Khamgaon 100 percent voting was done till 2 pm.
Till 12 o’clock in the special tehsils including Khamgaon, not a single vote was held. In these two hours from 12 noon to 2 pm, all 37 voters of Khamgaon played their right to vote. After Khamgaon, 95 percent voting took place in Jalgaon Jamod till 2 pm. There was 90 percent voting in Shegaon.
In Nandura, Malkapur and Lonar, not even a single vote was held till 2 pm. Till 2 pm, 38.15 per cent polling was registered in the district. Also, after two o’clock in the afternoon till four o’clock, there was 100 percent voting in all the tehsils. In Buldhana district, 359 voters out of 367 cast their votes. Whose voting percentage was 97.82. The results will be declared after the counting of votes on December 14.
