The Madhya Pradesh government is going to bring a stringent law regarding love jihad. According to the state Home Minister Narottam Mishra, in the next assembly session, the related bill ‘Madhya Pradesh Freedom of Religion Bill, 2020’ will be brought. Under this bill, non-bailable clauses will be levied against those accused of love jihad and those who cooperate in this crime. Apart from this, there will also be a provision for a sentence of 5 years in the Bill.
The notice must be given 1 month before to marry voluntarily
Whichever person has been converted under this bill, his parents or siblings must file a complaint. However, if someone is voluntarily converting, then the religious leader, who will get this process done, will have to inform the District Magistrate about it a month in advance.

Those who cooperate will also be considered criminals
In the bill, there will be a provision to declare that any marriage has taken place after conversion by force or fraud or seduction. Legal action will also be taken against those who cooperate in this crime. Those who cooperate will also be considered as the main culprits.
Earlier this month, Chief Minister Shivraj Chauhan had already indicated this. He said that jihad will not be allowed at any cost in the name of Love and for that Madhya Pradesh will also make necessary legal provisions. If anyone does this action, it will be corrected. Spreading fundamentalism and jihad will not be allowed in the name of love.
