New Delhi/Patna, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Tuesday announced his return to active politics and predicted the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections 2022. At the same time, he attacked the ruling BJP on Wednesday and criticized his policies fiercely. He said that due to BJP, the country is moving towards civil war and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is responsible for this. Comparing BJP with Britishers, Lalu said that after 70 years he has returned as BJP in India.
No Hindu will vote for BJP
The RJD chief has fiercely targeted the central government over the controversy surrounding the hijab. He said, “The country is moving towards civil war under PM Modi. They are not talking about inflation, poverty but about Ayodhya and Varanasi. They (BJP) have got a feeling that by doing this they will get Hindu votes. No one is going to give them Hindu votes.

SP support in UP elections
Lalu said, “The desperation of the BJP shows that they will lose the UP elections. They are talking only about riots and temples. 70 years ago our ancestors had left the country to the British but now the British have returned in the form of BJP. We support SP in UP elections.”

Voting for the first phase of UP elections is going to be held on Monday. In this election to be held on a total of 58 seats, 2.5 crore people will exercise their franchise. In the 2017 elections, the BJP had won 53 seats. On the other hand, SP won two and RLD, Congress and BSP won one seat.
