Markets are also fully decorated for Christmas. There is a great demand for decorative items in the market. In view of the festival, many programs will be organized in different parts of the city. In view of this, preparations are going on.
Lighting will be arranged in various churches of the city on the occasion of Christmas. Various programs will be organized from 24th December. In view of Corona, the church management has started preparations. This festival, which always runs from December 24 to January 5, has got a break this time. In view of the celebration, people of Christian society give more emphasis on decoration. Till now these decoration items used to come from China. But due to the closure of goods from China, now decoration items are coming from Japan, Taiwan. Because of this, the prices of goods have become generally 30 percent more expensive.
Prayer will be done twice because of Corona
On the occasion of Christmas, care will be taken that there is no crowd in Andrea Church of Sharanpur Road. During the morning of December 25, from seven to nine o’clock, people of Christian society will come to offer prayers. Before this, there will be a watch night service on the night of December 24 at 10:30. Whereas on December 26, prayer, worship will be done for small children and on December 27 for women, men and youth at three o’clock. There is a demand for items such as tableaux of the birth of Jesus Christ, stars of different colors, lighting, garling, Christmas tree etc. This time the price of decorative items has increased. Christmas tree is available from Rs 50 to Rs 1000.
