This job recruitment scam happened during the tenure of BJP government. The job was recruited in 2016 in the State Co-operative Tribal Development Board and Shabari Board which comes under the Tribal Department. A total of 582 posts were to be recruited. At that time the department started job recruitment process for 389 posts from private institution instead of government recognized institution. This job recruitment got good response from all over the state. 36,000 people had applied. But in the Maha Vikas Aghadi government, Tribal Development Minister K. C. Padvi had canceled this controversial job recruitment.
