Nashik: The Health Department has geared up to vaccinate the corona in the entire state. The department has also taken up the task of public awareness of corona vaccination. In view of the third wave of Corona, the booster dose of Corona has started in Nashik district along with the state. But, on the other hand, it has been revealed that 22,000 health workers in Nashik district have not yet taken the second dose of the corona vaccine. In such a situation, fingers are now being raised on the health administration too. It was seen that the health department employees started getting sick as soon as the corona wave started.
The state has started giving booster doses from January 10 due to the third wave of corona. This initially includes health workers, frontline workers and senior citizens. But it has come to the fore that before this the health workers of Nashik district have not taken the second dose. Vaccination has started from 16 January 2021, but about 22,000 health workers in the district have not yet received the second dose. The Health Department has expressed concern about this. How to increase the vaccination of these employees, how to impart knowledge to the employees giving knowledge to the people, is a challenge before the department.

Booster dose has been started in Nashik. The exact dosage will be given to 45,000 health workers in the district. For this they do not need to show any medical certificate. An interval of only two months is mandatory between the second and third doses. 45,000 health workers who take the dose before 10 April 2021 will be eligible for the campaign. The administration has appealed to them to get vaccinated immediately. Along with this, vaccination of citizens will be expedited.
