Ranchi : District administration alert in the capital of Jharkhand in view of the increasing infection of COVID-19 in Jharkhand and the possibility of knocking the third wave of Omicron. Mode has come to (Alert Mode). In view of the attack of COVID 19 and Omicron Virus, a meeting of the District COVID Task Force was organized today for adequate preparation at the district level.
In the meeting held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi Chhavi Ranjan, necessary guidelines were issued to the senior officers of all the cells and other concerned officials. During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner said that we have to be fully prepared for any situation. The way all the cells have worked in coordination so far, it has to be continued in a better way.
Emphasis on increasing the level of investigation
In view of the increasing cases of corona infection, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized on increasing the number of COVID tests during the meeting. The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers of the concerned cell to speed up the level of investigation with adequate preparation.

In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner directed to make Bundu Sub-Divisional Hospital, Sadar Hospital, Risaldar Baba Urban Community Center, Doranda functional in view of the increasing COVID infection. In this regard, the Deputy Commissioner gave necessary directions to the Civil Surgeon. The Deputy Commissioner, assessing the need for masks, sanitizers and masks etc., directed to purchase them. The Deputy Commissioner also directed the Civil Surgeon to prepare adequate number of medical kits.
All doctors will be on duty, excuses will not work
Duty of all doctors will be imposed to deal with Omicron, the third wave of COVID-19. No doctor can be relieved of the duty of COVID-19. Alternate duty will be imposed in ICU and general ward of all doctors. During the meeting, while directing the Civil Surgeon in this regard, the Deputy Commissioner said that action will be taken against the doctors who make excuses under disaster management.
Deputy Commissioner’s appeal to doctors
The Deputy Commissioner said that the way the doctors had cooperated last time, this time also they came forward in the public interest with the same spirit of service. The administration needs your cooperation. The Deputy Commissioner directed the District Transport Officer to run a campaign for compliance of proper behavior according to COVID-19 in all public transport. He said that those who violate the guidelines should be punished as per rules.
