So far, goods worth lakhs of rupees have also been confiscated. Despite this, nylon manja is being sold secretly. Nylon Manja’s chakri in black is being sold for Rs.600-700. Permanent kite businessmen are troubled by the black marketing of such nylon manja. At this time the business has fallen by more than 50 percent. There are many types of kites in the market with Modi, Angry Birds, Chhota Bheem, Motu-Patlu, but there are fewer people asking them.
Not even 5 chakris are being sold in a day
Kite traders say that still some people are selling nylon manja in black. Goods worth Rs 200 are being sold for Rs 600-700. At the same time, the demand for Bareilly’s manja is decreasing. Due to this, the business of permanent shopkeepers is not being done. During Sankranti, more than 60-70 shops are set up in Khapripura of Itwari in January but till date the business is cold. There are fifty companies manufacturing nylon manja in Delhi, Noida, Aurangabad.

They are being told that the Manja of Bareilly is good from the point of view of public safety along with the environment.
